MORE THAN 200 bikers and Coronation Street star Ian Puleston-Davies will be gathering at Bill Smith Motors on Sunday for their seventh Christmas charity run to Claire House Children’s Hospice.

Anyone with a motorbike or scooter can join in the fun for a very good cause.

You just need to bring a little gift or a donation for the children – and a little Christmas fancy dress never goes without a smile from the youngsters at the hospice.

All donations, raffle and auction fundraising goes to Claire House, a hospice that provides respite, end-of-life and bereavement care for children and young adults with complex medical needs.

Christmas is the perfect time to come along to the charity run and show their support for such a worthwhile cause. The hospice relies solely on fundraising to keep it going.

Karen Smith, from Bill Smith Motors, said: “Although we’re all experiencing hard times, nothing compares to the life-threatening and life-limiting strains the children and their families at Claire House live with every day.

“So please, even if you can only afford to give £1, come along and show you care. For the children and their families to just see you on your bike supporting them means the world.”

Everyone is welcome to meet from 10am at Bill Smith Motors on Tarvin Road, Chester, with the convoy due to set off delivering the gifts and donations to the Hospice at noon. It’s all free – all Bill Smith Motors ask is you bring a little gift (label for girl/boy and age appropriate) or give a small donation (minimum £3 donation for a charity run 2012 T-shirt).
