TWELVE mates from Ellesmere Port Conservative Club aren't sure how many points they managed to rack up in a 24-hour snooker marathon last weekend.
But what they are certain about is they raised a great £2,352 for Claire House Children's Hospice.
Organiser and marathon man Kevin Thomas said: 'It went very smoothly but we were all exhausted by the end of it.
'The total was boosted considerably by people coming in to watch the cabaret at the club on Saturday night.'
He added: 'We lost count of the total number of points we scored between Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at the same time - but we're just delighted with how much money we raised for a good cause.'
