LISTED building consent was sought for alterations to shop premises in a Grade II-listed former town house in the city centre.
The application was made by London-based Brinkworth Design at 21-23 Eastgate Street.
Conservation specialists had no objection to the work which included the replacement of shop fittings and surfaces. There would be no effect on the historic fabric of the building.
No representations were made as a result of a site notice. Planning officers recommended the application should be approved and the council agreed.
