SHOCKING images of the aftermath of a car crash will be used in an attempt to change young people’s attitudes towards driving.

Cheshire County Council road safety unit will be running the national For My Girlfriend campaign in schools and colleges across Cheshire for the first time in February 2008.

Sixth form students across the county will be given Valentine cards bearing graphic photos of the carnage caused by a car crash.

A TV and radio advertising campaign will also run on local and national stations in February and are available to view on The Chronicle website www.chesterchronicle.co.uk
