The Sheriff of Chester has been enlightening children at St Mary’s Community Nursery School about his special role.

Cllr Alex Black and Sheriff’s Lady Janet Black told the youngsters at the Handbridge school about the city, his cloak and chain.

As part of their topic on pattern, each child designed a new cloak for him to make sure he always looks his best.
