SELLICK Partnership Chester, financial recruitment specialist is entering the Shell Chester half-marathon with a 35-strong team to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team, which will be made up of employees and clients including RSA, Steni, Health In Business and Booker, will run the half-marathon on Sunday May 17 around Chester and the surrounding area.
Sellick Partnership is actively involved in community and fundraising activities on a regular basis, and last year raised more than £4,000 for the Macmillan cause, which provides much needed practical, medical, emotional and financial support to those affected by cancer in the area.
Beverley Smith-Jagger, director at Sellick Partnership Chester, said: “We have received such a fantastic response to the marathon and now have 35 people running with us, which provides a fantastic opportunity to raise a significant amount of money for a good cause and get fit at the same time.
“Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that is very close to the hearts of the team here as everybody knows someone who has been affected by cancer.”
