THE police helicopter has been circling the Chester area looking for a vulnerable 43-year-old man.

Keith Elder, from Huddersfield, was last seen leaving the Holiday Inn on Wrexham Road, Chester at around 10am on Tuesday (April 19) but went off without any word to his wife and children who were with him.

Keith has been depressed lately and his family and police are concerned for his welfare.

Sergeant Rupert Morrey said: "Keith’s family are understandably very concerned and I would appeal to him to contact police to let us know he is safe so we can put their mind at ease. He is wearing a very noticeable green top and I would urge members of the public to look out for him if they are out in the Chester area.”

Keith is of Somalian heritage and is 5ft 4in tall and was last seen wearing a bright green polo shirt, khaki three-quarter length shorts and blue Adidas trainers.

Anyone who may have seen Keith or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000 quoting incident number 262 of April 19.
