FILM fun brought families to Chester’s Grosvenor Park on Saturday.
More than 400 people attended the Screen Deva day organised by Chester Performs.
Activities included Green Screen Workshops, where children and adults donned fancy dress and created their own movie special effects.
Leading digital media organisation Folly, based in Lancaster, offered interactive activities including a sandpit of fluorescent bugs and a digital etch-a-sketch.
Children were also able to orchestrate their own music on a specially designed musical bouncy castle.
Cheshire Dance carried out a series of dance workshops and a chill-out tent showed family friendly short films with all -day face painting.
Programme manager of Chester Performs Amber Knipe said: “We were delighted with the turn out for the Screen Deva Family Day and the feedback from participants was that it was great to see an event and activities of that nature in Chester.”
