A 20-year-old man was seriously injured when the scooter he was driving was involved in a collision with a car in Little Sutton on Saturday night (December 6, 2014).
Police were called to the crash between a blue Taiwan Golden Bee scooter and a black Volkswagen Golf on Rossmore Road West at its junction with Fairways Drive at around 8.44pm.
The scooter driver, who is from Ellesmere Port, is being treated at Fazakerley Hospital, where he is believed to be in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a 48-year-old man from Bideford in Devon, was uninjured in the accident.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call them on 101 quoting incident number 827 of December 6, 2014.
