SAYERS the Bakers in Chester are supporting The Children’s Trust for National Doughnut Week, by donating money to The Children’s Trust for every ring doughnut sold.

Sayers ring doughnuts are popular with their customers of all ages and now taste extra sweet, as customers can enjoy their favourite treat with the added benefit of helping to raise money for The Children’s Trust.

The Children’s Trust is a charity dedicated to giving severely disabled children unrivalled care, education and therapy.

The Trust runs the largest centre in the UK for children with brain injuries and is aiming to raise £50,000 in tasty treats to help it continue supporting its teams all over Britain.

Lorna Culican at Sayers said: “We’re delighted to support this charity initiative and so far the ring doughnuts have been flying off the shelves. We wish The Children’s Trust all the best and look forward to hearing how much they make in total from their fundraising efforts this week.”

National Donut Week lasts until Saturday (May 15), and customers are advised to get to a store quickly or risk missing out and leaving with glazed expressions.
