A Cheshire charity is appealing for baby clothes to help people who have become homeless with their families.
The facility provides accommodation for 26 families.
Save the Family currently have lots of homeless parents with babies at their centre and most that come to the charity have lost everything and are fighting to keep their children from being taken into care and to remain independent.
Parents living at Save the Family receive transformative mentoring support to enhance their parenting skills with input from a team of family and children’s mentors who work creatively with parents to underpin physical, emotional, social and intellectual development from birth.
Marketing & business development manager at Save the Family Josie McLachlan said: “Being a good parent is one of the toughest jobs in the world, and it is almost impossible when you are young, homeless and without the support of a family.
“Save the Family exists to help these parents and pregnant young people secure a brighter, more secure and stable future for themselves and their babies. We cannot thank the local community enough for responding so passionately to our Bundles 4 Babies social media posts – the response has been inspiring and very much appreciated.”
