Saughall Rotary members enjoyed the company of Himanshu Gupta, a rotaractor from India.
The friendship was established when several members of Saughall Rotary joined a polio vaccination programme, organised by Rotary International.
Members help to provide vaccinations to the local population by administering two drops on the tongue of babies and young children.
Polio is a disease with a devastating outcome however it is easily avoided with the appropriate vaccination.
Himanshu is part of Rotaract, the Rotary organisation for under 30s, and he shared stories from his club and their projects and aims for the local population.
The meeting was rounded up by a trip to Llangollen the next day.
