SANTANDER has launched a new scheme to support charities.
Community Plus, a £1.23m fund, will provide grants of up to £5,000 and is open to small local charities or local projects of national charities. Registered charities can apply for a grant to cover salaries, equipment or materials.
Applications can be made by visiting any one of Santander’s 1,300 branches and completing a short nomination form, which can be dropped off in the special Community Plus postbox in the branch.
