STAFF at National Railway Supplies in Crewe played Santa to children at a daycare facility.
They raised more than £650 through a month of fundraising for the Ethel Elks Family Centre in Salisbury Avenue in Crewe.
Claire Hollinshead of NRS, who co-ordinated the charity effort with colleagues Laura Beeston and Rachel Roberts, said: 'Money-spinners included a dress down day, raffle of donated goods and a Dutch auction for four tickets to Manchester United's Boxing Day match against Bolton.
'We had fantastic support in raising the money and collecting toys. It was nice to meet staff at the centre which provides many valuable support services to the community.'
NRS, which is on Gresty Road, is the UK's leading railway logistics, materials and solutions provider.
The company employs more than 300 people at its Crewe headquarters with another 250 across the UK.
Employees handed over a wide selection of books, toys and games to use in the centre's play area.
The Ethel Elks Family Centre provides a range of services for able bodied and disabled children and their parents including an after-school club, behaviour management programmes and play sessions for two to four-year-olds.
