The glitzy tea dance, held as a free event to encourage local people to come together, was staged by friendship group Deeside Oddfellows and Brightlife Festival as part of its friendship month celebrations.
Oddfellows secretary Denise Turner said: “Thanks to everyone who came along. We had so much fun together and enjoyed welcoming some new faces to our friendly group. Even our life-sized cut-outs of BBC judges Bruno and Craig had a big smile on their face. It was great to see everyone taking to the floor to tango, jive, waltz and even partake in a spirited highland fling!
“One lady told me she hadn’t danced for 56 years and how much she’d enjoyed taking to the dancefloor after so much time.
“Here at Deeside Oddfellows, we’re all about making friends and having fun, but also providing support when it’s needed,” she added.
Based in Saltney, but with events across the Wirral and North Wales coast, Deeside Oddfellows regularly get together to enjoy social events such as talks and trips out, lunches, scrabble club and coffee mornings.
The Oddfellows is also offering a chance to win a luxury afternoon tea for two and £100 spending money in a free prize draw on its campaign website at www.friendshipmonth.com.
