A CHESTER primary school took part in industry-inspired science lessons.
Sue Andrews, an advisory teacher with York University, visited Saighton Primary School to give pupils and staff lessons in science by looking at industry.
Headteacher Mavis Sellers explained: “It's good professional development for staff to see excellent science teaching as Sue also demonstrates good starting points for teaching science.
“The lessons focused on water filtering before a visit to Deeside Power Station,” said Mavis.
The programme, Children Challenging Industry, culminates with a schools lunch at Catalyst in July.
