Once dubbed the 'heir to Dusty Springfield and Karen Carpenter', Rumer has been revealed as the special guest for Rick Astley's woodland gig at Delamere Forest next summer.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter, who won the MOJO Award for Best Breakthrough Act in 2011, is set to wow the crowds at the Forest Live concert on Saturday, July 2.
Her debut album Seasons of My Soul sold more than 1,000,000 copies, and her latest album This Girl's In Love: A Bacharach & David Songbook – which features some of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David's most memorable co-compositions – will be released on November 25.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring forests to new audiences, and income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding the nation's forests and woodlands .
