LOVED-UP royal lookalikes planning their wedding can win a special bridal package for their own big day.
Couples who think they bear more than just a passing resemblance to Prince William and Kate Middleton can compete for a bumper bridal prize at Blakemere Craft Centre’s wedding fair during the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Businesses at Blakemere have contributed to a unique wedding package which includes vouchers for discount wedding stationery, bridal pampering, photography and free use of The Coach House restaurant venue.
The lookalike competition will be judged by Blakemere manager Ginny Brooks-White, with the winners having their photograph taken by Blakemere’s wedding photographer Piero Belmonte.
Other businesses at Blakemere will be giving away free prizes at the wedding fair, which is being organised by Elegance Weddings and Events.
The fair is open from 12-5pm on Monday and entry is free.
Potential lookalikes can register at the Blakemere stand for their chance to win the bridal prize.
Ginny said: “Royal wedding fever has well and truly hit Blakemere and we thought it would be fun to try to find Cheshire’s own Kate and Wills.”
