Rock Choir, A Handbag of Harmonies and Chester Songbirds to sing at Winter Wonderland

CHESTER streets will be alive with song throughout December.

Choirs will entertain shoppers in Eastgate Street and visitors to the Winter Wonderland on Castle Square in the week’s leading up to Christmas.

Chester Songbirds kick off the action tonight on Eastgate Street from 6.15-7pm. The city’s Rock Choir will then be at Castle Square from 7-7.15pm and 8.30-8.45pm.

Rock Choir started in the city in September and celebrated its first term with an informal concert for family and friends at Queens Park High last week.

Rehearsals start again in January and new members are welcome on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8pm and 8-9:30pm at the United Reformed Church in Upton and Fridays 10-11:30pm at The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester.
