RHYTHM Time courses used to teach music to children are proving hugely popular with babies as young as six weeks.
Organiser Julia Casper has 600 children booked in 40 classes including Tarporley, Farndon, Christleton, Helsby and Hoole.
She said: 'What we do is important as it develops children's co-ordination and mathematical ability.
'The children who attend classes are better behaved than those in ordinary toddler groups as the moment you sing at a child you have their full attention.
'The classes are so much fun and you build up a rapport with
the mothers and most of the children that start as babies stay with us until they go to school. The mothers also build up friendships.'
Vicars Cross resident Sarah Green, 30, who takes one-year-old Alana to classes said: ' I started bringing Alana to classes from 12 weeks, she is more co-ordinated and alert than most babies her age and her hand-eye co-ordination is quite advanced.' nFor more information contact Julia on 07789867589 or julia@rhythmtime chester.fsbuisness.co.uk.
