THE 11th annual RHS Show Tatton Park is attracting crowds from all over the globe.

Up to 100,000 people are expected to attend the five day horticultural festival in Knutsford, which began yesterday.

Over the last 10 years, the RHS Show Tatton Park has enticed visitors with some of the best horticultural displays, summer food, floral fashions and family fun in the country.

This year, the show will see the introduction of two new categories, Visionary Gardens and the Tatton Park Young Designer of the Year Competition.

The first challenges designers to create their ultimate fantasy garden while the second will be on the lookout for the top horticultural talent of tomorrow.

This year will also see more show-stopping bedding features from the British Protected Ornamentals Association and many more imaginative displays in the RHS / Ball Colegrave National Flower Bed Competition.

Visitors can also look forward to garden inspiration, top tips from experts, endless shopping opportunities and surprising floral displays.

There will also be plenty to entertain the children with potted pumpkins and an outdoor kitchen, to art workshops and gardens for the little ones.

Show manager Kris Hulewicz said:

“Visitors will be wowed by the gardens in the Show Garden and Back to Back categories, while the fun and quirky gardens in the RHS/Ball Colegrave National Flower Bed Competition are always a firm favourite.

“The contemporary, futuristic designs in the new Visionary Gardens category are sure to turn a few heads, while the 200-metre Floral Marquee will be packed full of magnificent plants and floral displays.”
