A ‘new shopping experience’ has been unveiled at Marks and Spencer’s Cheshire Oaks store as part of a revamp which has created 43 jobs.

Improvements and the addition of new services have been introduced following the feedback of 250,000 customers across the country.

Store hosts will now greet shoppers in the beauty, footwear and men’s suit departments, and so-called ‘flexi-branding’ has been rolled out in womenswear which facilitates the regular and fast changing of displays.

The womenwear department has also benefited from a make-over which focuses on reducing duplication and offering better product availability, so customers can browse item-led areas to discover key season products.

Store manager Neil Parnell said: “The changes we’ve made in-store are from direct customer feedback as to how they’d like to shop.

“Bringing in new colleagues and improving the way shoppers can navigate the store has given us the ability to be able to offer a personal touch to our service – the store hosts in particular have been a really successful addition to the team

“The customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re thrilled to create a shopping experience that does just that.”
