A VILLAGE hall was in stitches when residents raised funds for a hospice.

Waverton Village Hall held a tea cosy convention in the Hospice of the Good Shepherd’s stitches day.

Cosies on offer included a Father Christmas, a snowman and a black and white cottage.

Animal lovers could pick up an elephant cosy or a wise old owl while City Sheriff Cllr David Hull was taken by a sheep cosy.
