RESIDENTS of Mid Cheshire are being urged to have their say in a national consultation on the delivery of healthcare.
Known as Choice, the exercise was launched last month to find out what patients, voluntary groups and health and social care staff want in terms of their care and treatment, as well as getting their help on shaping national policy.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust chief executive Simon Yates said: 'Real choice includes being involved in decisions about where and when care is received, as well as what services are available and how someone wishes to be treated or to manage their condition.' The Department of Health has a section on its website to provide information on the consultation at www.doh. gov.uk/choiceconsultation.
