A 918 Spyder – the fastest, most advanced Porsche road car ever – is currently on sale at Porsche Centre Chester for a whopping £1,080,000.
The hybrid sports car is powered by a 4.6 litre V8 engine, which delivers 608 horsepower.
It’s capable of accelerating from rest to 62mph in just 2.6 seconds and boasts an eye-watering top speed of 214mph.
And if all that isn’t enough to convince you just how powerful a machine the Spyder is, it became the first series production street-legal car to break the seven-minute barrier at the famous Nürburgring race circuit in September 2013 with a lap time of six minutes and 57 seconds, reducing the previous record by 14 seconds.
Porsche say: “The fastest, most advanced Porsche road car ever made – harnessing the combined power of a race-derived eight-cylinder petrol engine with Porsche E-Hybrid power to create a four-wheel drive supercar unlike any other.”
Part of a limited run 0f just 918, the Spyder model is no longer in production.
Celebrities lucky enough to have the Spyder in their fleet include comedian Jerry Seinfeld and professional racing driver Mark Webber.
It is believed the Spyder will remain at Porsche Centre Chester until it is sold.
