PEOPLE in Frodsham can now access help and advice from a range of local providers under the same roof.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s customer services reception and registration service have joined Weaver Vale Housing Trust in basing services at the Princeway Health Centre.
Customer services has moved from its current base at Castle Park to a co-located reception with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) on the first floor.
Open five days a week from 8.30am-5pm, the service offers help and advice on topics including concessionary travel, council tax, housing benefit and general enquiries.
On the ground floor, the council’s registrars offer appointments every Wednesday afternoon and Weaver Vale Housing Trust operates a drop-in surgery every Friday from 2.30-4.30pm.
Julie Critchley, deputy director of operations at CWP, said: “The trust provides a number of community health services from Princeway including district nursing, community matrons, podiatry, physiotherapy and mental health services, as well as children's services including health visitors, school health advisors and speech and language therapy.
“These services focus on the ethos of maintaining and improving health and wellbeing for the local population of Frodsham and Helsby. Princeway allows us to deliver quality services in the heart of the population.”
