SPIRITS were high at the Quinn Glass factory and filling plant as 1,500 people joined staff for the summer family open day.
Andrew Miller MP declared the day open and visitors and staff flooded on to the fields. There were charity stalls, a beat the goalie competition, sports races and face painting.
A fairground with a spinning tea cups ride, the terrifying magic carpet and a giant inflatable slide and bouncy castle entertained the kids.
Quinn Glass director Peter Fitzgerald said:Š “It’s been fantastic to see so many members of the local community join us for the big day.”.Š
