THE Queen’s School achieved an impressive pass rate with A and B grades in 80% of their A-levels.

Dhivya Prasad, Faye Woodcock, Annabel Walsh, Laura LeBrocq (all from Chester), Mary Byrom from Tattenhall, Emma Leyland from Frodsham, Zahra Taleifeh and Emma Corcoran from Wrexham, Emma Shore from Tarporley and Hannah Gohar from Nantwich all achieved a clean sweep of A grades.

Headmistress Catherine Buckley said: “I congratulate the girls on achieving such superb results.

“They have worked hard for their success and now they will reap the rewards of their efforts, taking up their places at top universities to study a huge range of subjects including architecture, law, international business, maths, medicine, civil engineering, physics and chemistry. I am delighted for them.”
