PUPILS of Chester’s Queen’s School spread musical cheer this Christmas during two Christmas Cabaret evenings featuring 174 students.
Show stoppers included Bollywood dances, a modern tuba solo and a rendition of Candyman by sixth formers.
There were four original compositions including carols composed for the Junior Choir by Year 7 and 8 girls and a carol for Senior Choir composed by A-level student Katie Atkins. The Chamber Choir performed a composition by acting head of music Jeanette Healey called ‘Mary’s Song’.
She said: “I am so proud of our wonderfully talented girls who work incredibly hard to prepare for this event and are a delight to work with.”
