GIRLS from the Queen’s Lower School were in full bloom for a cathedral service.
The youngsters held their annual Daffodil Service at Chester Cathedral.
The service celebrates the coming of spring incorporating the Easter message through the symbol of a barren cross. During the service every girl places a daffodil upon the cross transforming it into a living image.
Head of the Lower School Felicity Taylor said: “Every year we delight in this service. It is also so important for us, as a city school, to be part of the community and worship in our beautiful cathedral’
Year 6 pupil Lily Tenner said: “It is the best service ever. The cross looked fantastic.”
