The giving does not stop there though as the choir has also released a Christmas album of eight original songs also written by Mrs Healey.

The festive ensemble Songs for Queen’s features solo performances from nine of the girls who recorded the album in a recording studio in Liverpool.

Profits will be donated to The Christie in Manchester and the festive songs can be downloaded for just £6.32.

Mrs Healey said: “The girls have really enjoyed recording the songs and it has been a great experience for them to see first-hand what goes into putting a professional recording together. They have all been fantastic and I am so proud to see it all come together and believe we have produced a really good single and album. We hope to see our hard work result in us raising money for two great causes.”
