With Christmas just days away, pupils from local primary school, St Martin’s Academy, have brought the festive spirit to Churchill Retirement Living’s Eaton Lodge in Chester.

The pupils from St Martin’s performed a special carol service for owners and the local community at Eaton Lodge, singing some Christmas classics.

Hayley Robinson, marketing executive at Churchill Retirement Living who joined owners at the event, said: “It is wonderful to see the generations come together to celebrate Christmas. It can be a difficult time for some people, but having events such as this helps to spread the Christmas cheer.

“The pupils from St Martin’s sang beautifully and I know that all the owners at Eaton Lodge thoroughly enjoyed the carols and are feeling very festive.”

The carols are the latest in a series of festive events being held at Eaton Lodge in the run up to Christmas, which have also included sherry and mince pie get togethers.
