MATHS students at Chester Catholic High School know every angle.

The youngsters in Years 7 and 8 took part in the University of Liverpool’s Funmaths Roadshow at school.

The interactive day included problem solving and team work. Sixth formers were also involved, which gave them a chance to show their ability to explain mathematical concepts.

Dave Park, numeracy coordinator, said: “The day was a complete success and the comments I have received from both students and staff have been most encouraging. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activities and experienced maths in fun and interactive way. I look forward to repeating the experience annually.”
