A DARESBURY schoolgirl has come up with a winning design to try and persuade drivers to slow down.
Year 6 pupil Aliyah Hasoun from Daresbury Primary School was picked as the winner in a competition to design a road sign with her Lewis Carroll-themed effort.
The competition was part of the school's Travel Plan, which included several initiatives such as the Daresbury School Bus shelter, a covered area for parents to wait to collect their children and improved CCTV system.
