THE Tarporley Children in Need fair raised nearly £1,400 for the charity.
Pudsey Bear arrived in style in a convertible car at Tarporley Community Centre on Saturday to the delight of the children waiting.
Pudsey met all the children and posed for photographs before visiting all the stalls at the fair.
Organiser Jeff Jackman said: “We had a packed hall of stalls, including face painting, a chocolate wheel, skittles, books stalls, videos and more.”
The main event of the day was the prize draw, where a pleasure flight over the local area was offered as the star prize.
The fair raised £1208 and a further £187 was donated for the charity on the day.
Jeff added: “Both children and parents had a great time and we made a good sum of money.”
