THE Ring O’Bells won a floral display award at the annual Christleton Village Show.
The landmark pub, which also won the Family Friendly Award at the Chester Food & Drink Festival in April, took the prize for best hanging basket.
Owner Ian Wade said: “We are delighted to have won this competition, although it’s not the winning that counts but being a good competitor. We are pleased to hold the trophy and to go beyond the limits of just being one of the top 20 pubs in the nation.”
The Ring O’Bells also won silver at the Chester Food & Drink Festival 2009 Gala Awards in the best newcomer category.
