A PUB licensee will relax with a very well earned drink after scaling three of Britain’s highest peaks in 24 hours.

Tony MacDonald, 28, of the Greyhound, Farndon was talked into tackling the feat by friend Sean Williams.

Sean runs charity Third World Hope, a charity based in Chester helping disadvantaged communities around the world with sustainable resources such as a clean, safe water supply, land for growing food, shelter, educational material, clothes, mosquito nets, blankets and other life saving equipment.

Between June 4 and 5, Sean, Tony and others will attempt to complete the challenge together.

He said: “I’ve been a keen hill walker and runner for a few years. I’ve done it in the past. It’s quite an accessible challenge but still very hard.”

Tony is holding a quiz night to try to raise the £250 target amount he has set himself.
