IT’S week two of The Chester Chronicle’s Baby of the Year competition in which hundreds of pounds worth of top prizes are up for grabs.

Next week, we will print the first batch of baby photographs, all looking to be crowned Baby of the Year 2007 in a competition sponsored by Chester’s Mall Grosvenor.

The annual competition seeks to find the area’s top tot by giving parents the chance to send in pictures of their cuties and delightful toddlers!

With bigger and better prizes than ever up for grabs, readers will be able to vote for their favourite young star over the coming weeks from a selection of picture galleries.

We will be running pictures of all nominees, who will all be in the running for some great prizes.

The winning baby will receive a fabulous professional photograph produced as a 16in by 12in high-quality canvas Giclee print (recognised by the Fine Art Guild), which has the appearance of an oil painting and is worth at least £100.

They will also receive a £300 gift card voucher to spend at The Mall Grosvenor.

Two runners-up will receive a professional photograph produced as a 12in x 8 in high-quality canvas Giclee print, worth £50, plus £100 gift card voucher to spend at The Mall Grosvenor.

Julie Williams, marketing manager at Chester’s Mall Grosvenor, said: ‘We are delighted to once again sponsor the Baby of the Year competition.

‘Not only does the competition have some great prizes up for grabs, but provides an excellent opportunity for proud parents to showcase their tots in a great community competition.’
