POLICE searching for missing 16-year-old Dean Bennett from Ellesmere Port have found a body.

POLICE searching for missing 16-year-old Dean Bennett from Ellesmere Port have found a body.

The body was found at around 5.15pm today - Monday, September 12 - in a wooded area of Ellesmere Port.

The body has not yet been formally identified.

Investigating officers say at this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances.

Dean Bennett, 16, from the Princes Road area of Ellesmere Port, was reported missing by his concerned family yesterday (Sunday, September 11) at about 4.10pm.
