THE question-and-answer session with Cheshire's Chief Constable and the chairman of the police authority on the county's Policing Plan has become an annual event.
This year a fresh twist has been added as, for the first time, people will be able to see and hear their questions being put to the top men.
Questions sent in for them to answer via post, telephone or e-mail will be asked by a journalist during a Question Time-style interview, which will be filmed and made available via the police authority website and YouTube in May.
The Policing Plan has been delivered to every home in Cheshire during the past four weeks. It is an eight-page tabloid newspaper produced by the police authority which contains aims and objectives for the coming year.
Police authority chairman Peter Nurse said: 'It is hearing the views of the people of Cheshire about the police service they receive that helps the authority to make improvements to the organisation.'
The deadline for questions is Monday, April 30.
To submit a question, post it in an envelope marked Policing Plan to Freepost CS123, Cheshire Constabulary HQ, Clemonds Hey, Oakmere Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 2UA, e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0845 358 0555.
