A MISSING man from Runcorn has still not been found despite a police investigation into his whereabouts.

John Charles Consterdine has been missing since leaving the home he shares with his partner on June 4, although his disappearance was not reported to police until three weeks later on June 29.

John, an insulin-dependent diabetic, and both police and his family are extremely concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

John did not take any money or cash cards with him, but was carrying his passport the night he vanished. However, police say there is no evidence he has travelled abroad.

A father of three, John is described as white, about 5ft 6ins, of stocky build with hazel eyes and short black straight hair. He was wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, a red anorak and a silver chain around his neck.

A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: 'Enquiries are ongoing and are very intense, but we still need peoples' help in trying to find Mr Consterdine.'

Anyone with information about John's whereabouts is asked to contact Runcorn police on 01244 350000.
