Police are appealing for help in tracing this Merseyside man in connection with theft offences in Chester.

Merseyside Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing John Higginson, 51, of no fixed abode, who is wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions.

They also want to speak to Mr Higginson as part of investigations into a fraud offence in North Wales, and theft offences in Wallasey and Chester.

Extensive enquiries have been made by officers to progress the investigation and they are now asking for the public’s help in tracing him so they can speak to him as part of their enquiries.

Higginson is described as being white, 5ft 10in tall, and of large build. He has dark brown hair which is balding on top, and blue eyes.

He is known to have links to the Scarborough area in North Yorkshire, and Birkenhead.
