FRODSHAM Players are putting on a production of Edith Nesbit’s The Railway Children.

The Edwardian tale is of three children abruptly reduced from affluence to poverty when their father has to leave them for some mysterious reason.

The most famous film version starred Jenny Agutter as Roberta, the eldest daughter, and Dinah Sheridan as mother.

Dave Simpson’s lively adaptation will be performed at the Frodsham Community Centre in Fluin Lane December 3-5 at 7.30pm with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday, December 6.
