PLAYERS and officials at the Chester City v Lincoln game on Saturday, October 4 were involved in an altercation in the tunnel directly after the match.
Witnesses saw officials and police officers running into the tunnel as the players were leaving the pitch.
Cheshire Police spokesperson Glynn Hellam said: “Two or three individuals from both sides were involved in the altercation. It was not violent, and no arrests were made.
“The incident was resolved before the police arrived, and no further action will be taken.”
