GCSE students at Christleton High School were in for a surprise for their Year 11 prom.
Pupils gathered on Wednesday, July 6 eagerly anticipating the revelation of the destination for their special evening.
Headteacher Damian Stenhouse and head of Year 11 Sheila Lister greeted the 178 students who arrived looking sophisticated and dapper after a year of hard work and an excellent attitude to learning.
The students were then whisked away to The Mere Golf Resort in Knutsford where they enjoyed a two course meal and plenty of dancing.
