Glamour was the order of the evening for Year 11 pupils from The Queen’s School who met at Chester Racecourse on Saturday, June 20 to celebrate the end of their exams.

The girls, who have just completed their GCSEs, arrived for their end-of-year prom wearing elegant gowns ready for their evening of glamorous celebrations.

This year’s prom, organised by Year 11 student Charlotte Barker, saw the girls enjoy a delicious meal followed by their very own awards ceremony; categories included ‘ person most likely to go to Oxbridge’, ‘best double act’ and ‘ person most likely to be Prime Minister’.

The girls danced the night away to a DJ, reminisced over a slideshow of memories and created new memories using a photo booth.

Prom organise Charlotte said “'I really enjoyed the challenge of organising prom and the look on everyone's faces on the night made all the hard work worth it. I want to thank everyone who helped, especially Amrita for making the video, Harriet and Zara for presenting the awards, Danielle for sorting the photo booth and Liv for so kindly organising a thank you gift for me. It was such a nice way to celebrate the end of our GCSEs and everyone looked amazing.
