PHOTOGRAPHER Rachel Sian, of Rachel Sian Photography, will be at Chester’s Forum Shopping Centre this weekend to take a snapshot of city shoppers.

Rachel will be taking pictures of shoppers from 8.30am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-2.38pm on Sunday as part of the Great Big Portrait Marathon being held across the UK in aid of Macmillan nurses.

Rachel said: “We want to involve as many people as possible to reach our target of snapping 2,012 people and raising money for such a worthy cause.

“Families on a day out, workers in their uniforms, sports teams and people of all ages can join in the fun.”

All those photographed will be entered into a free raffle, the top prize being an iPad.

Macmillan is hoping people will get involved by popping into their local studio, get their photo taken in return for a small donation.

People can download their photo from the official website and all the photos will be put into an online collage to create a snapshot of the people of Britain 2012.
