THE petition to Age Concern Cheshire and Cheshire West and Chester Council asking for them to continue running the day centres until an alternative organisation can be found has been distributed around the Eddisbury area.
The petition launched by Eddisbury MP Stephen O’Brienlast month will be at Tarporley Country Market on Saturday, it has been placed in the post offices in Tarporley and Tattenhall , in Swaffields in Tarporley, Village Green in Tattenhall and at the day centres in Malpas and Kelsall.
On Monday, August 9 a special Broxton Community Forum meeting will be held at the Barbour Institute in Tattenhall at 7pm.
