A PERFORMANCE before a VIP audience will be one of the highlights of a celebration tomorrow evening (Thursday).

It will portray the journey Sutton High School has made leading up to its re-launch as Ellesmere Specialist School for the Performing Arts (EPSSPA).

The official launch will be attended by a wide range of guests including borough mayor Ted Lloyd and David Williams, acting managing director of Bellway Homes.

During the launch week there has also been a series of workshops, performances for pupils and parents and displays.

Bellway, which is building at Rivacre Village nearby, has been working closely with the school in the run-up to the re-launch.

One project was the roundabout immediately in front of the school's reception area, which has been completely cleared and re-designed to incorporate the EPSSPA name.

The new shield logo features a boy and girl dancing.
