A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a vehicle near the Morrisons roundabout in Bache around 8am on Thursday morning (February 26).

They were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with a suspected head injury.

A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic collision on Liverpool Road at 8.06am this morning.

"We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.

"We arrived on scene at 8.17am.

"There was one patient, a pedestrian, with a suspected head injury and they were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital."
